Welcome in Impero a micronation based on freedom and founded by Emanuele Spikas the 1st february 2000.
The Sovereign Micronation Impero is a extra-territorial nation with its own identity, culture and organization and its seeking for the recognition of its status and for the gaining of a virtual or territorial sovereignity.
Impero is a Constitutional Monarchy with a minarchic orientation, that is a minimal state with the purpose of the defence of freedom and rights of the people determinated by the Constitution, and respect of this Constitution. The administration of the nation is committed to a system of both democracy and meritocracy controlled by 3 organisms: The Council of Great Masters that represents the state and looks after foreign politics and defence and defence of the institutions and imperial principles, the Great Council that represents the people and look after laws, and the Government driven by the majority party or coalition that looks after interior, culture, justice, information, informatics, propaganda. At the present moment the Prime Minister is Michele Septe and the chief of the state, the Emperor, is Emanuele Spikas
The official languages in Impero are italian and imperial, that is a native language derived form interlingua.

By partecipating in an active way you will be able to contribute to the developmente and growing of the micronation and become one of the protagonists of its history or you'll be simply able to have fun in the social or cultural activities.
Activities and communications between citizens are mainly carried out with the Imperial Forum.

Our nation is not an unreal nation, but a virtual micronation, this is a non-territorial state.
Micronationalism is the movement that is seeking for the full international recognition of that social, political and cultural realities made by small groups of people, normally called micronations.
These are divided into micronations with an own territory, natural or artificial, and into virtual micronations that, for they have no territory, work mainly in the net. As the recognized states, also micronations have an organization and they have an aim: develop a native original culture and obtain the international recognition.
Sadly, recently role games and political simulations incorrectly call themselves micronations, maybe they don't know the meaning of this word.
Only entities that want the recognition are actually micronations. We want the recognition because we have a common culture and identity and our citizens have developed a sense of being part of our nation.
We offer services and we have a lot of cultural intitutes (i.e. university, library, radio-television...)
and activities. We have diplomatic relationships with various micronations, nations organizations and governments in exile.
